3 Books That Should Be Made Into Movies

This week Lost in Books asked for 3 books that should be made into movies, and this one was hard because it seems most books I've read are already movies! But I found 3 that haven't hit the silver screen quite yet:

1. "The Book of Lost Things" by John Connolly - this is one of my favorite books and I think it would be a cool fantasy movie
2. "Water for Elephants" by Sara Gruen - everyone loves a good love story/circus movie!
3. "Burning Bright" by Tracy Chevalier - "Girl With a Pearl Earring" was made into a movie, so they should make this one into a movie too (and it also has a circus in it)

P.S. "Open Book" is by Kathy Jeffords.

Why hasn't Water For Elephants already been made into a movie? That's a great idea!

I think I'm going to have to find a copy of "The Book of Lost Things." It sounds very cinematic from its description.

The Book of Lost Things looks fascinating. It's been added to my TBR list. I loved Water for Elephants and apparently it's being made right now (under the name Circus) with Reese Witherspoon and Robert Pattinson. I don't know how I feel about that casting, but we'll see.

I didn't know you were so into the circus! ;) Great picks. Thanks for playing this week!
