Big Boy Birthday Bike
The challenge at ARTastic this month is to use The Playing Claude Renoir by Auguste Renoir as your inspiration, and as an added challenge use ribbon, a photo of a child playing, and create your own background.
Since I'm still working on Jake's 4th birthday I decided his birthday bike pictures would work out great.
My friend Angi is retiring from hand stamping cards which means I got my pick from her collection. I thought this giant stamp of interlocking rectangles she had would work great to make my own background. The blue paper and red ink were inspired by the colors in the painting. I used ribbon to make a "road/sidewalk."
This page was going to look much cooler in my mind and I can't put my finger on what I could have done to make it pop. Doesn't matter! I got his birthday scrapped in less than 10 years and the pictures are cute regardless.

Lucky you being able to choose some stamps from your friend, I really like the one you have used on this page, it does make a great background.
Like also how you have used ribbon for the roads/ paths. Thanks for being part of the August challenge at ARTastic.
